Effective Design Management
Driven by our Design and Construction Interface Manager, IFC design was delivered within a 16-week period. Verification and Client review has been carried out simultaneously to minimise review durations. WBHO-I’s D&C Manager worked with BG&E to ensure timely delivery of IFC design, which enabled mobilisation to take place as swiftly after the wet season as possible – fundamentally important to maintaining program.
Aboriginal Heritage
The site passes through known and possible Heritage areas with management plans in place to ensure strict monitoring.

Aboriginal Participation
WBHO-I achieved a 33% Aboriginal participation outcome based on man-hours worked on the Project. As part of this initiative, nine low risk inmates from the local Wyndham Work Camp were employed on the Project on a day release basis, with three becoming full-time employees upon their release. WBHO-I, in collaboration with Main Roads WA, were recently awarded the CCF Earth Award for Excellence in Civil Construction (Project Value: $30-75M).
