Design
Design was marked by efficient, early final design resolution and temporary traffic arrangements that enabled safe, unimpeded traffic flows 24-hours a day. Final design of critical works was issued in nine weeks, well ahead of the expected 14-week duration.
Project Delivery
Delivery was similarly accelerated despite environmental and program risks resulting from severe rain events, and the supply chain challenges presented by the remote, elongated site; four concurrent work crews delivered works to the tight nine-month program within the live environment within the client’s budget.
The Project was completed five months ahead of the agreed completion date.
WBHO made significant improvements to the most direct sealed link between Perth and the eastern states without a single closure, environmental incident or safety incident.
