Wanneroo Road Ocean Reef Road Interchange
Design and construction of a road bridge, carriageways for Wanneroo Road and Ocean Reef Road including tie-ins to existing network and two loop ramps to facilitate connection between the two arterials roads.
The project included a slip road to facilitate traffic movements from Ocean Reef eastbound to Wanneroo Road northbound and provision of all connections, modifications and improvements necessary to link the Project Works to the existing road network and affected properties. Our specialist teams undertook the relocation & modification of services and the installation of foundation intelligent transport systems consisting of optic fibre communication network, vehicle detection systems and closed-circuit television.

The project also included:
- Pedestrian & cyclist facilities, tie-ins to existing, & underpasses; and Drainage.

The existing at-grade intersection ranked as one of the most congested in the Perth Metropolitan Area. Construction of a new Interchange at required innovative traffic management and detouring solution to minimise impact to public during construction and facilitate a safe working environment for road workers, road users and pedestrians, including people with disabilities.
